
Nathan Thompson
Nathan is a licensed counselling therapist (LCT), an approved supervisor with CCTNB, a certified Canadian counsellor, and a part-time graduate teaching associate at the University of New Brunswick. He’s also a fellow with the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis & Psychotherapy. He’s also a volunteer on the registration committee with CCTNB and is on the CCPA Ethics Committee (query division). Nathan’s doctoral training and post-graduate training has focused heavily on psychoanalysis and the relational psychoanalytic perspective. He has been in private practice since 2019 and is passionate about the profession. Nathan and his husband live in Fredericton and have two young boys. They love spending time with them as they try (without any luck) to have time stand still.
Dr. Debra Wolkenfeld
Debra is a licensed clinical psychologist and supervisor who works in private practice at DW Behavioural Health where she focuses her work on teens and adults. She’s also a fellow with the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis & Psychotherapy. Debra has her PhD in clinical psychology from Long Island University where she completed specialized training in psychodynamic treatment. She also has experience providing outpatient psychotherapy to children and teens at the Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut, where she was a member of the Center’s Emergency Mobile Psychiatric Service. She also has experience conducting family therapy and extensive neuropsychological evaluations and assessments. Debra was raised in New York City and now lives in Connecticut with her husband and two you children.
